Today is kind of up and down. I was in a bad mood, then a good mood, and now just a sad mood. Matt and I are getting on each other's nerves, and so I think that is a part of it. He's all moody. And that's not really unusual. He gets moody sometimes. He'll say, "No, its nothing you did, there's nothing you can do to make it better, I'm just moody." Which is fine, except that he has to be moody around people and torture us. He can't be like me and go off and be moody in our room by himself.

Oh well. Moving on...

It's been a busy week. On Thursday I got my sister's birthday CD in the mail (a week late), the Windows XP I ordered on Ebay for my new computer, and then, as Matt and I were running out the door, my new computer came! We had opened the door to go to work, and the Airborne Express guy was standing there saying, "Where do you want it?" I was so psyched. (Incidentally, except for on that networking commercial, do people even say psyched anymore?) And then I remembered that I had plans to go out with Nick for lunch on Friday, and then I work on Saturday, and then Sunday and Monday we are going to Matt's parents' house to hang out. So my new computer is here, with its new OS, and I have to wait forever to play with it!

I stayed up til four that morning setting it up. Still haven't gotten to play with it. Sigh. I bought Zoo Tycoon today to install, but I probably won't have a chance to play it for another few days.

I had a nice lunch with Nick. We went to Packards, chatted, and then went to CVS where I got this completely funky hair-twisting machine. It would work alot better if it had real alligator clamps, metal ones, instead of dinky plastic ones. My hair requires some serious clamping. I can't find a picture of this device online...I'll have to take a picture of it.

Today I went to WalMart with Day before work. She needed to do some shopping for her daughter Shannon's birthday, and I needed a surge protector and mouse pad for my new computer. Then we headed over to Yankee Candle. The only three people on earth who will go there with me are Mom, Day, and Aunt Lisa. Day picked up the Hagrid stuffed doll from the clearance section, and it didn't have a sticker on it, so it took 15 minutes for the cashier to figure out what to do. Since it was a clearance item, they couldn't find it in the computer anywhere, and a manager was called over. "Ah, just ring it up for $6.95," he grunted. Day, the cashier and I exchanged mystified looks. This is a NICE doll, and I know the least I've EVER seen it was $15. The cashier shrugged, winked and said, "Ok, pretty good bargain." Day was thrilled. Ah, the joys of a good find. We forgot to smell the state candles. New Hampshire smells like cow shit.

Now I'm at work, and just hanging in there. I'm gonna go out for my lunch, and a cigarette, and then come back in, and try to stick out the next 2 1/2 hours. I hate Saturdays.
